Suddenly you have this huge idea that you want to share to everyone, but your inner voice quickly slaps you and tells you that your idea is still unripe and needs improvement.
You fight it and it makes you jump out of bed so you can try and execute it first thing in the morning.
Now light a cigarette.
Take out that notebook and make a list.
Switch on that monitor, I want to see that scene again.
Take me to that spot, I want to see her face again.
Skip sleep and breakfast, even the morning commute so you can start drafting plans.
You can’t stop thinking about it.
You can’t calm down. Yes, you’re excited.
You know you can’t light the fire if the candle’s melted but you feel the warmth now. It’s burning once again.
Wait, let me drift so I can dream about it.
Let me close my eyes so I can hear her speak again.
Turn off the lights because tomorrow it will be bright again.
